株式会社ローソン（本社：東京都品川区）は、2013年1月9日に農業生産法人「株式会社ローソンファーム宮崎」（宮崎県清武町）を設立いたしました。5月中旬より「ローソンファーム宮崎」で生産したキュウリを、九州・中四国・近畿地区の青果取扱いローソン店舗（1,863店）および九州・近畿地区のローソンストア100店舗（287店）にて通年販売する予定です。また、「ローソンファーム宮崎」の設立を記念して、2月19日（火）に全国のローソン店舗（9,935店：2013年1月末現在／ローソンストア100除く）にて、「ローソンファーム宮崎」（契約農家含む）」、「JA宮崎経済連」の日向夏を使用したデザート「プレミアム 日向夏と八朔のタルト」295円（税込）を発売いたします。
