柞原八幡宮の公式ホームページ豊後一の宮（旧国幣小社）です。昭和４９年には桧皮葺の屋根を銅板葺に改造された。社宝も多く所蔵しており、中でも太刀、薙刀直し刀、銅造佛は国指定重要文化財になっている。柞原八幡宮の南大門は別名「日暮門（ひぐらしもん）」と称し二十四孝およびその他のすばらしい彫刻があり、門の横には国指定天然記念物に指定されている樹齢３０００年余りのクスの巨木がある。赤ちゃんが生まれて初めて神社にお参りする行事がお宮参り、その土地の守り神である産土神（うぶすながみ）に赤ちゃんの誕生を報告し、健やかな成長を願う行事です、赤ちゃんの健やかな成長と健康をともに願いましょう。七五三参り、結婚式
