General information
明治39年。高津堂の初代高津常助がつくった「紅葉形焼饅頭」が広島銘菓「もみじ饅頭」の誕生でした。後に、「紅葉形焼饅頭」は「もみじ饅頭」と呼び名を変え、宮島だけでなく広島県を代表する銘菓となりました。
