ひかり餅中村本舗は、巨椋池(京都府の南部、現在の京都市伏見区、宇治市、久御山町にまたがる場所にかつて存在した池)で餅米(羽二重)を栽培し、さらにお餅への加工販売まで手がける農家で主に夫婦で営んでいます。こだわりの杵つき餅、かきもち、その他加工品は近隣の農産物直売所や百貨店で直売、卸販売をしております。
