有限会社アート工房は昭和48年2月に現在の三重県伊賀市四十九町で看板製作会社として創業。
現在は看板製作・施工のみならず、立体造形物やイベント会場の設営・装飾、建築塗装、デザイン、設計なども幅広く手掛けています。
伊賀市は忍者の故郷ということもあり、「伊賀流看板屋 アート工房」と名乗り、忍者だまし絵製作やイベント参加等、精力的に活動中。
