General information

1987年に世界初のビデオルーペ（光源内蔵型手持ちテレビ顕微鏡）を開発し、1998年には、世界初のデジタル顕微鏡を開発・販売を開始して以来、医療・美容・産業の国内外各分野に様々な先進的開発製品を送り出しております。
『IMPRESSIVE WORKS “いい仕事”』をモットーに、私どもスカラの原点でもある「お客様のお役に立ちたい！！」を実現し、お役に喜んで頂ける製品を開発して参ります。

Since our company was established in November 1985, we have been playing an important role as a manufacturer of optical and electronic devices. Scalar is the pioneer of microscopes; we developed a video loupe (a build-in light source type handy TV microscope) for the first time in the world in June 1987. Since then, we have been developing a wide variety of products which are used in the fields of medicine, beauty/cosmetics, industries, and so on.
We are very proud for being the first company to develop and sell the world-first digital microscope in August 1998. It has been used not only at NASA but also at various manufacturing companies of cars and airplanes. Our intelligent USB Microscope was introduced in the keynote speech by Steve Jobs from Apple Inc., which was a very encouraging event for our company.
Our task is to solve the problems of our customers and to develop products that will benefit our customers. We are looking for new business opportunities abroad!
