明治3年、丹後峰山町で和久屋傳衛門が始めた旅館。それが、今日の和久傳のはじまりであり、名前の由来です。京都市内、秀吉の北の政所「於寧（おね）」ゆかりの高台寺近く、現在の「高台寺和久傳」に移転したのは昭和57年のことです。
