福島県会津地方に伝わる会津木綿を中心に、地域に伝わる素材や技術を、現代の生活になじむようにデザインし、服飾小物や雑貨を生産・販売しています。

About IIE
Craftsmanship building the next generation

Our business is planning and selling dress accessories and zakka, made using materials and skills from our local area, creating fashion that fits the present. We primarily use Aizu-cotton, from the Aizu area in Fukushima prefecture.
IIE started because of the Great East Japan Earthquake. We lost many things on 11th March, 2011. In order to overturn this disaster, and to help create joy and happiness, we named our company ‘IIE’, which is ‘3.11’upside down.
Now our staff include women who live in temporary housing, local artists, those who work in sewing factories, and handicapped people. We gather skills from local craftsmen, and create incredible products.
We hope to live a fruitful life at home in the rural area where we've grown up, and to make a better society for the next generation, so their lives can be wonderful too. In order to achieve this, we aim to have the strongest and happiest relationship between our manufacturers, users, administration staff, and all others with a connection to IIE.
